Exciting News from Precious Paws Community Cats!

We’re thrilled to announce our new partnership with VCA Animal Hospitals!

As part of this partnership, every cat adopted through Precious Paws will now receive a $250 VCA voucher toward their veterinary care within the first 14 days after adoption at any VCA Animal Hospital location. Vouchers will be provided at the time of finalizing the adoption.

This incredible opportunity helps our adopters start their cats off with the best care possible while easing the cost of that important first vet visit.

Adopt

Precious Paws is dedicated to finding caring, forever homes for adoptable kitties rescued through our trapping initiatives. To help us achieve this goal, we’ve established the following adoption guidelines. Please take a moment to review them before completing and submitting your application.

Applicant
The person adopting the kitty must complete the application. Please verify that all contact information is accurate.

Age
Adopters must be at least 18 years old.

Living Situation
We will confirm your homeownership through an online search or by contacting your landlord to ensure that pets are allowed under your lease. If you live in someone else's home (like a parent, relative, or friend), we will need to speak with them to confirm that pets are permitted.

Reference
We require at least one personal reference who is not a family member, spouse, partner, boyfriend, or girlfriend. This reference should know you well and be able to speak to your ability to care for pets.

Current Pets
Regular wellness exams and up-to-date vaccinations are vital for a cat’s health. Therefore, we will review the care history of any cats you have had or currently have with your veterinarian.

Pet Guardian
We will ask that you please provide the name and phone number of someone who can care for your adopted kitty if you are unable to do so. If this individual is your spouse or partner, we recommend identifying an alternate caregiver as a backup.
